This Society is the world’s largest consumer co-operative with a turnover of over £9 billion, 85,000 employees and 4,500 retail outlets and 2.5 million active trading members.

The Co-operative was the first supermarket to put Fairtrade products on their shelves – and it now sells over 220 Fairtrade products. Indeed because of its policy on many other ethical matters it is the preferred choice for many shoppers.
